Fantasm Films principals Woody Bavota and Kevin MacDonald are producing their second film Beg. Beg is more of a psycological thriller than a slasher film, we work very hard on our scripts to convey the human factor of each character and to tell their story of how they got to where they are in their lives.
Beg stars Tony Moran who is an Icon in the Horror/Thriller film genre having portraied Michael Myres in both Halloween 1 & 2. Tony was the first person that they forwarded their script to and he got back to them with a resounding yes, he portrays Detective Jack Fox who is assigned to capture the masked killer. Next they need a strong actress to play Tony's wife so they approached PJ Soles who has had an amazing career with films like Carrie, Private Benjiman, Stripes and Halloween. Veteran actors Debbie Rochon, Tiffany Shepis, Kristina Klebe and J LaRose were then attached to Beg.
They have begun principal photography last October in Boston with Tony Moran, PJ Soles and Debbie Rochon, they will film the remainder in February and March 2008 in California.
Woody Bavota and Kevin MacDonald formed their Cape Cod, MA based film company in May of 2007. Their first film Spilt Milk an HD Short that stars Tiffany Shepis was made specifically to show their production value and to attract actors to their feature script Beg.
