Extremefilmmaker.com and Brazen Pictures announce the deadline of August 31 for the 2007 48 Hour Film Festival, screening in September at the prestigious Arclight Cinema in Hollywood, California.

The Extreme Filmmaker 48 Hour Film Festival was established to eliminate the usual excuses that prevent filmmakers from actually completing their films.

With no entry fees, little to no budgets and a time investment of a mere 48 hours from the start of the shoot to the delivery of the final edited product, the 48 Hour Film Festival has motivated literally hundreds of short films and jump-started the careers of dozens of talented filmmakers.

Industry professionals, agents and celebrities attend every year to watch and judge the program of short films selected from entries worldwide.

This year's festival will once again be held in September at the beautiful Hollywood Arclight Cinema.

Films should be submitted on DV tape, shot and edited within 48 hours, and run eight minutes or less. Pre-production (writing, casting, set building) is allowed outside the 48 hour time frame.
