StudioNow has launched its website, http://www.studionow.com/. StudioNow.com is the first web-based community of freelance video/movie editors available 24/7 to provide Hollywood filmmaking expertise and editing services to its users. Individual customers or small businesses interested in transforming digital photos and videos into high-quality content can now do so easily and affordably rather than investing resources in learning time-consuming and complex video-editing software.
The launch of StudioNow ushers in a new era of video production by directly connecting consumers with expert video/movie editors. The StudioNow Editor Network includes a range of expert editors, from film-school students to major-network TV and Hollywood feature film professionals. Editors can sign-up to feature their editing talents and are assigned projects matching their skill level through the StudioNow website.
David Mason and Adam Solesby, the company's co-founders, have extensive experience in creating multi-million dollar Internet Retail and Media ventures, and created StudioNow after realizing that the supposed-simple task of digital video editing was too time consuming.
"StudioNow is one part YouTube, one part eBay, with a sprinkling of Hollywood on top", said Mason, StudioNow's CEO. "This is the perfect solution for a very large market that will continue to accumulate an enormous amount of digital photos and video clips. Our projects range from a two-to-three-minute birthday party video to an MTV-style music video for an up-and-coming band and every thing in between."
Adam Solesby, CTO, said, "We are at an exciting time where we can finally leverage massively scalable Internet architecture for more than content consumption and commerce. We have built the first interactive community that directly connects consumers and top-tier creative talent. Our systems handle all the boring, time-consuming, and expensive parts without limiting the creative power of the editor. It is the best of both worlds -- computer software and human creativity."
Mason said, "Today, people are too busy to spend their time editing vacation footage or their kid's soccer game when someone else with great skills and experience can do it for them."
