Brian Ochab, an up-and-coming film director, has been getting Hollywood's attention. He created a dazzling short film for the new Steven Spielberg/Mark Burnett reality show "On the Lot." The show divides 16 undiscovered directors into teams who compete to finish a short film each week.

In addition to the short film, the filmmakers are also required to create a 45-second opening. "I wanted to create something completely unique. In addition to creativity, I also wanted to show that I had some resourcefulness," Ochab said.

"I decided to parody the opening of the 1966 Batman television show."

Ochab's elaborate opening includes all the goodies from the series, including the blinking Batphone, Shakespeare bust and secret sliding bookcase. However, it doesn't end there. A close friend who owns a replica Batmobile gave Ochab permission to take the car to the actual Bronson cave where the series was shot. He filmed the Batcave exit sequence complete with the road barrier drop and a sign that reads "The Lot 14 miles".

"I watched the show in re-runs when I was a kid and it really captured my imagination. I wanted to be Bruce Wayne/Batman. For a brief moment, I got my childhood dream!"

His efforts are paying off. He is creating some serious buzz in Hollywood.

"Yeah, I've been getting calls from people in the industry ... it's a good sign."

His film "Pitching Loose Women," which he directed, edited, co-wrote and scored is equally astonishing. It's a five-minute wild and imaginative Ray Harryhausen-like ride with some wonderful unexpected twists at the end. In its first few days of being posted on the site, it was viewed over 2,000 times.
