Public Media Works, Inc. has begun shooting its next feature film, Donna On Demand, starring an ensemble cast, including Corbin Bernsen, several notable Daytime Television stars, as well as newcomer Nolan Hubbard who gained the role via the "One Red Paper Clip" phenomena that swept the internet last summer. The film is being co-produced by Los Angeles-based Antibody Films, and is being shot in a 30,000 square foot soundstage in Burbank, California, where extensive sets have been constructed specifically for the film. Donna On Demand, a psychological thriller with dark comedic overtones, is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2007.
Public Media Works completed its last film, "Carpool Guy," in the fall of 2005, and has several films planned for production throughout 2007, including ?3 Day Test,? a family comedy which is scheduled to be shot in Kipling, Saskatchewan, Canada. ?3 Day Test? is a further outgrowth of the ?One Red Paper Clip? phenomena mentioned above. Public Media Works expects to begin the set construction for ?3 Day Test? in September 2007, and commence shooting the film in November 2007 to capture the winter theme of the film. Public Media Works is working closely with the Town of Kipling and Kipling Film Productions, Inc. with the planning, financing and production of the film. The Town of Kipling has offered to provide its Town Hall as the production office for the film and the local Ice Rink for use as a sound stage. Kipling Film Productions, Inc. plans to provide a majority of the funding for the film. Public Media Works is also working with Angel Entertainment Corporation, a motion picture company headquartered in Saskatoon, Canada, to co-produce the film.
