The producers of Capture the Flag, Synthetic Truth Disk Jockey and 3 Can Keep a Secret, Ballistic Entertainment, has been picked up for domestic and international distribution by Maxim Media International/Brain Damage Films.
Ballistic Entertainment, headed by Zachary Yoshioka, known valley wide for their guerilla-style of indie film making, and sponsored by Trash City, has teamed up with Maxim Media International/Brain Damage Films, a worldwide film production and distribution company - located in Tempe Arizona, for a distribution deal, including the newest release, which premiered on Friday January 27th at the Tempe Cinemas, "THREE CAN KEEP A SECRET."
Independent filmmaker Zachary Yoshioka, after 10 years of movie making, has realized his dream of sharing his films with a whole new world of movie viewers. With the distribution of not just one, but 5 of his films going out into the world of retail, pay on demand cable and broadcast television, it's a very exciting time for Ballistic Entertainment and Zachary Yoshioka.
Ballistic founder, 24-year-old Zachary Yoshioka, and his crew of young adult volunteers have been striving to bring their dreams to life for the past ten years through micro-budget film making. Recently, Yoshioka got his break in the music industry. Ballistic also produces music videos and band DVDs for national acts such as the Kottonmouth Kings, the Transplants, Authority Zero, and Story of the Year.
Yoshioka says that this next step of the Ballistic evolution will enable him and his company to become even more creative with their next projects. Trash City's Jim and Chris McLennan, known valley wide for their tireless support of local talent, including bands, IZW Wrestling and Comedy Slamfest, also sponsor Yoshioka's company as Producers and Executive Producers.
Brain Damage Films, headed by the infamous, mysterious "Brain Damage," has made a huge name for themselves in the underground, cult horror film genre and are now venturing into other areas of film making, film distribution and marketing, both in the United States and in many countries worldwide. They are veterans of most of the Horror Film Festivals worldwide and are a staple at the Cannes Film Festival, both as sponsor and in acquisitions.
