Industry veteran Jonathan Krane and Krane Productions have taken major strides in establishing an international film market in Palm Beach County, which is set to debut in 2007.

The brainchild of Krane, the film market in Palm Beach County was spawned from his vision of turning Palm Beach into a viable alternative to Hollywood. Most recently Krane, who relocated to the area, also established the Krane Academy of Motion Pictures in West Palm Beach.

?After spending more than 25 years in the film industry I have learned many lessons and gained tremendous insights into all aspects of the business as well as what works and what does not,? said Krane who believes Palm Beach has all the necessary ingredients to become a hub for the art and businesses of filmmaking. ?A film market in Palm Beach will fill a void in the industry and will work.?

Currently in discussions with a major media sponsor, Krane and his team are also working on the specifics necessary to bring their plan to fruition such as securing a venue as well as collaborating with producers, distributors and other entertainment industry executives.
